One of my favorite pieces of 'karma wisdom' was 'How would your life be different if you stopped making negative judgmental assumptions about people you encounter? Let today be the day you look for the good in everyone you meet and respect their journey'. I had been having trouble in my relationship. We seemed to be bickering or fighting all the time, picking on each other's faults, and how we wanted them to change. I thought if only my partner would change this or that, we'd be happy. But things were getting worse. We were just becoming mean. Then I found this book, and read this quote. I knew that whatever my partner and I had been doing, was not working. I was willing to try anything. So, I began to compliment my partner, pointing out his strengths instead of his weaknesses. You would not believe how quickly our relationship changed, for the better! I was astounded at how quickly things turned around! Pretty soon we were building each other up instead of tearing each other down. But the biggest miracle of all was that we actually started to become those great people we wanted each other to be. You are going to have to try this for yourself to really understand what I mean. It changed everything. And when we started to get the relationship right, we were better able to get ourselves right, and everything else right. It does take a bit of effort, and some faith, but honestly, it's worth it.Shelly Barber

Wonderful book.

I just love this book. The words are beautiful. The author has also provided terrific information to help to understand the quotes better and how to apply them in life. It's all grouped nicely and easy to follow. Depending on how I'm feeling or what I'm going through at any particular time, I can just go to the relevant section and get some very clear guidance. As someone who is trying to live well with karma, I find this book to be excellent reference material to help me on my way. I thoroughly recommend it.
